History development

Fricotech Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd (FESB) is a budding Malaysian company that specialises in supplying and retailing unique home appliances and household products that enhance the healthy liestyle of its customers.

In corporated in September 2004, FESB is a classic example of self-made success story that has since enjoyed a remarkable and exciting growth one could never imagined.

From a humble beginning that could be traced to its origininal small office in Serdang, Kuala Lumpur with only eight staff in the company, FESB has grown in to a stronghold of 70 staff, with acumulative business volume of more than RM10 million in less than three years.

FESB's presence can be found not only in Peninsular Malaysia but in East Malaysia too, under Fricotech Sales & Services Sdn Bhd that made it successful in roads in August 2006.

FESB's mission is to become a global market leader of healthy home appliances and household products provider. Strong growth is envisaged since home appliances are a necessity to most families. With the current emphasison healthy lifestyle, FESB' sproducts positioning will boost its sales growth.

To achieve this mission, FESB strategically selects and imports products under its Frico brandname and other consumer OEM brands from Germany, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. It imposes strict quality control on all Frico products; such as vacuum cleaner, microwave oven air purifier, energy water system, induction cooker, pressure cooker and other qualtiy cookware, before marketing them to the consumers.

Under this strict quality control routine, FESB is able to give two years' warranty against manufacturer default on all products as compared to one year warranty period offered by most other comptitors.

Coupled with strategic market positioning, FESB has created a niche of its own that has garnered the confidence of Malaysian customers.

With its business expanding rapidly locally, FESB is now targeting the international market, with immediate growth on Vietnam by the 3rd quarter of 2009.

Since its incorporation, FESB has enjoyed steady sales growth, from RM4.3 million in 2004-2005, to RM8.4 million in 2006, RM11.5 million in 2007 and RM12.8 million in 2008. With much confidence and on the right track, FESB is projected to achieve RM14.7 million worth of sales in 2009.
